Gorgeous 3,000 ft 5 bed/4bath home nestled in the Catskills. Lovingly renovated converted 18th century barn. Riverstone working fireplace. 5 min drive to downtown Woodstock. Home is located in the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, near the Byrdcliffe Theater. Hiking trails & self-guided historical walking tours accessible by foot. 30 min to Rhinecliff Amtrak, 20 to Kingston Trailways, 5 to Woodstock Trailways. 30 to Hunter Ski Resort
The space
Bring slippers for inside the house - please take your shoes off at the door : )
One bedroom (not pictured) has full over full bunks.
House is on the mountain. The driveway is a little steep at parts so if you are walking up the driveway be aware you are walking up the side of a mountain.
Woodstock has a dark skies ordinance which means that we don't have flood lights flooding the surroundings with light. There is task lighting at the walkways but if you have trouble seeing where you are walking at night please use a flashlight.
Please look at the stairs. If you have guests that are uncomfortable with this stair design please don't rent our unit.
House is three floors. If you have trouble with stairs, perhaps look into one of our other listings.
