Summary: Brookside Lodge has potential to be a good little place to stay, its on the creek and the staff was very friendly and helpful but its needs a serious renovation. Our first room was a king we got in it, its so old with wood paneling very musky smelling, the bed was wore out the chair was broke and the door would not lock. We changed rooms all was left was a double queen it was some better but one bed frames was broke so we couldn’t use it. I did love the creek with the deck out back, That was peaceful listening to the creek
