The cottage is situated in a small, easily accessible village between Lyon and Saint-Étienne. This charming little stone house is attached to the owners' farm inn at the entrance to a hamlet. You will appreciate the spaciousness and the contemporary materials (polished concrete, aluminum window and door frames) combined with wood. It has its own private garden and parking space. There are a few animals on the property, but the main part of the farm is 3 km from the cottage. If you wish, you can enjoy farm products at the Ferme-Auberge restaurant. Reservations are recommended!
Located on the edge of the Pilat Regional Natural Park, it is ideally situated for outdoor enthusiasts: hiking, geocaching, and climbing (a natural climbing site is less than 10 km away), while remaining close to major shops and cities such as Saint-Étienne (30 minutes) and Lyon (50 minutes), which offer a multitude of day-trip options.
Just 3 km from the gîte, the Maison des Tresses et Lacets (House of Braids and Laces) is a must-see.
