Positive: I had the pleasure of staying in a delightful apartment in Hahnenklee during Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely perfect – just a one-minute walk from the city center and even closer to the Treff Hotel bus station. The ski lifts are also within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for winter sports lovers. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped with a tiny kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, lots of tea bags and plenty of dishes – ideal for preparing quick meals or enjoying a warm drink after a day out in the cold. The bed was super comfortable, providing the perfect rest after exploring the area. One of the best parts was the balcony, where I could relax and watch the mountains all day long – such a peaceful and picturesque view! One of the highlights of my stay was the famous and beautiful Stabkirche, which is just a four-minute walk from the room. The architecture and atmosphere were magical, especially during the festive season. Additionally, there are several great restaurants nearby, including German, Greek, and Indian options, offering a variety of delicious meals to suit different tastes. Frank, the owner, was an absolute gem. Not only did he come to personally pick me up from the bus station, but he was also incredibly kind and always reachable via WhatsApp for any questions or recommendations during my stay. His hospitality truly made the trip even more memorable. If you’re visiting Hahnenklee, especially during Christmas, I highly recommend booking this apartment. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to return!
