Positive: The host is very responsive and helpful, sharing tips for places to eat and events in town. The place is exceptionally clean and close to the main square. The breakfast was abundant: crunchy bread, brioches, jams, fruit juice. You can have a cappuccino with the capsules coffee machine or make a lovely espresso with the Italian moka pot. There are two cafes nearby for breakfast and happy hours. Cicala is a lovely place. It is located on the slopes of the Sila mountains, where you can enjoy beautiful natural sceneries. Only about 10-30 minutes drive away, you can find many agriturismos, where you can eat traditional and delicious calabrian food. The agriturismos, where you can find fresh and local food, are located in the nearby towns of S. Pietro Apostolo, Tiriolo, Marcellinara, Decollatura. The sea is also a short drive away, only about 35 minutes to reach Catanzaro Lido, a lovely coastal town.
