Summary: I had a great 7-day experience at Aroa Beachside Resort. My accommodation had a full-size fridge, cooking stove, microwave, front porch, and anything that one would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was basic, but got the job done. The grounds are well-groomed and beach just wonderful. I walked it every day...quiet & peaceful. I like watching the lightning-fast Tropical Crabs, which are exclusive to the Cook Islands. Shipwreck Bar, overlooking the ocean, is a great place to have a drink and something to eat while watching the never-ending waves crashing onto the reef. The Fire/Dance Show, free to guests, is absolutely the best on the island. There's a convenience store just a short walk down the road or along the beach that has a lot to offer, including hand-dipped ice cream. Beside the store is Asian Delight restaurant, which has excellent food at a very favorable price. Oh, and if you like hiking, Raemaru Track trailhead is just down the road. I hiked it twice! All the around, you can't go wrong with Aroa Beachside Resort!
