Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was great and right next to the town beach and a water taxi to a nearby island. The hosts were wonderful as well, with an added touch of kindness at arrival with some little cheesecake dishes! The place was clean and bright and we loved having screens in the windows above the doors. There was a nice little kitchen alcove and the balcony table and chairs worked well for eating meals. A good restaurant was 2 doors away and a well stocked little market was a 2 minute walk away. It was quiet, except for the lovely sound of the waves. It was off the main street traffic, but close enough to walk to town along the nearby main street.

Negative: Don't know if they can change it and have seen this in other places on the island too, but the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom except for a low wall. The water tends to hit that and splashes kind of all over the place. The only other issue is that the bed was too hard for me to sleep well, but my husband did fine with it. That being said, he is taller than me (about 6 feet tall) and the bed was just about long enough for him with his feet brushing up against the foot board. We stayed upstairs in room 2 and the other upstairs room (1) had a much better view out of the balcony. Trees blocked a good portion of our view.
