Local boat ramps are located at Violet Hill (sealed) and Neranie (unsealed) for Myall Lakes, and Brambles Reserve (sealed) for Smiths Lake. There is also an unsealed boat ramp at the end of Mayers Point (4WD access) suitable for small boats only. Mobile phone reception is strong for most networks.
