By car: Wernigerode is best reached via the A36. Take the "Wernigerode Zentrum" exit. From there, head towards the city. Directly before the third set of traffic lights after the place-name sign, turn left into Schleifweg. The blue house is then after about 120m on the left side. Public transport: Wernigerode can be easily reached by train. From the train station you can use the city bus lines 203 or 204 (to Burgbreite Ost or Hinzingeröder Str.) and the intercity buses 230 and 250 (to Horstberg). The loop path branches off from the Benzingeröder Chaussee at the height of a pedestrian crossing
Your vacation home lies a little outside of Wernigerode's historic downtown, but it is still close to the city center, which can be easily and quickly reached via public transport or an enjoyable 1.2 mile walk. The house was built according to the latest technical developments: its heat pump and AC are powered by solar panels and fast WiFi is available. All windows and patio doors can be blacked out by automatic exterior shutters. The living area with a large, open kitchen, a dining table, and a comfortable pull-out sofa with arm chair in front of a 50'' TV under high wooden ceilings provide a cozy atmosphere. The main bedroom has a box-spring bed while the second bedroom can house further guests on its box-spring sofa. There, a desk makes the room suitable as a home office. The bathroom offers towel dryers and an accessible shower. The fenced-in property has its own large parking spot. If you travel with your dog, s/he can stay at the house for free and can enjoy the fenced-in yard.

A large terrace with a view of the castle and the Brocken mountain features a seating area and a forest sofa for sunny evenings. Two cars can be parked on the enclosed property. An 11 kW wallbox is available at the parking space.
One dog is welcome to run free. The first dog is free, each additional dog costs €5 per day.

A new key code for the entrance door is generated for each guest. You will receive this before arrival.

The tenant is obligated to keep the house clean during the rental period and to return it to the landlord in a tidy and clean condition at the end of the rental period.

The vacation home is available from 16.00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the vacation home must be handed over to the landlord in a tidy condition by 10.00 a.m. at the latest. The contractually agreed number of vacation guests must not be exceeded! Failure to comply will automatically lead to immediate termination by the landlord without compensation.
The additional booking of the sleeping and play area is only possible after direct communication between the tenant and the landlord.
The use of the rental property/holiday home/sleeping and play area/car parking space by the tenant and the persons accompanying them is always at their own risk!

The tenant must immediately report any damage to the vacation home or inventory caused during the rental period to the landlord. He is liable for all such damage unless he can prove that he or the persons accompanying him are not at fault.
Theft of inventory will be reported to the police immediately!
If a pet is brought along, the tenant undertakes not to allow it on the seating furniture and beds and to remove all the animal's droppings in the garden and courtyard before departure.
Cancellation of the rental agreement must always be made in writing.
Cancellation costs for terminations:
- from 60 to 30 days 50% of the rental price
- from 30 days before the start of the rental period 80% of the rental price
In the event of no-show without prior termination of the rental agreement, the entire rental price must be paid.
Cancellation of the rental agreement incurs a processing fee of 25 euros!
The landlord undertakes to provide and hand over the vacation home in accordance with the contract. Defects or complaints regarding the vacation home must be reported to the landlord immediately.
