The Cottage is steps from THE GRAND ROUNDS, which is the nation's only urban-based National Scenic Byway. It is part of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's 6,400 acres of trails, lakes, parks, and recreation facilities. The parkways and paths are divided into seven segments and together form a nearly complete loop through Minneapolis as they connect 14 natural lakes, three creeks, two waterfalls, and the Mississippi River. Because of careful planning and strategic land acquisitions, all waterfront and rights-of-way around the lakes, creeks and river segments are in public ownership.

Liten Hus is designed by the Norwegian owner with clean, contemporary, functional Scandinavian influences. Vaulted ceilings and plenty of light provide an open, spacious feeling. The contemporary, yet cozy decor embrace guests like a soft, warm blanket. The see-through fireplace adds additional warmth via heat & heart and is visible from almost every space. Liten Hus hosts one separate bedroom w/ queen bed and high quality mattress & large Samsung television with all the channels, FREE Netflix & Amazon movies. The living area hosts a comfortable sofa, large television with all the channels. A fully-equipped kitchen hosts one kitchen island w/seating for 2 and dining table with seating for 4. Included is a refrigerator, range, microwave, Keurig & drip coffee maker, French press, dishwasher and pantry. There is also a separate desk area. A compartmentalized closet hosts plenty of space for guest's belongings. The spa-inspired bathroom hosts a shower w/grab bars, fan, large lighted fog-proof mirror and storage cabinet. The washer/dryer is located in the kitchen area next to the pantry.
Note: Liten Hus is ONE-LEVEL living, which makes it convenient for everyone - especially those with physical limitations. Note: There are 3 deck steps before reaching the main entry door.
