Positive: You get complimentary bottles of water and snacks on arrival. The location was great! Tastees 3min walk from property, there's a restaurant exactly in front of the property. The WiFi was excellent, had an overseas meeting via video link and it went smoothly. Hot water 🚿! The bed was super comfy I slept well every night I was there and the sheets were clean. The air con worked nicely and was very easy to use when I needed to adjust the temperature. The cutlery I used were very clean. The lighting in bathroom was great especially for us ladies that love to do their makeup :-)

Negative: The property didn't contact me with regards to check in instructions so I didn't know how to check in as it's the first time I'm staying at someone's property. I rang (after 12pm) the number that was on the booking confirmation to find out how to check in and to let them know I'll be at the property in 2hrs time. I got there later than the 2hrs I initially said and the property still wasn't ready so they asked me to give them an extra 30mins, 30mins turned to 1hr. The booking confirmation said check in from 3pm, so in my opinion the property should be ready to be checked in from 3pm. It was minutes past 5pm when I checked in. In the first instance when I rang it sounded to me as if they didn't even know I was coming! On checking in the host showed me how to use the facilities but there was no information on getting around or eateries in the area, I had to Google what was in the area. Bathroom was clean but toilet needed a bit more attention. I booked and paid the host for 5 days, he turned up on the 4th day asking me "what time today I'm check in out?". I paid for 5 days yet still he didn't know when I was leaving! I just got the impression that they were not organised at all! The day the host turned up (the 4th day) I told him I couldn't turn the TV on. He reckoned the battery's in the remote were dead so he said he was going to go and get new battery's and returned. Unfortunately he didn't return. It's a good thing I brought my ipad with me. The location is on the main street so it's very noisy from the day to day traffic. You have to sleep with the bedroom door closed to tone the noise down a bit. Overall communication was poor, and I did tell the host verbally when I was leaving.
