Abundant forest animals such as moose, deer and several larger bird species. In the vinter several lannglauf tracks are drawn and you may get the opportunity for ice fishing or skating. Here peace and quiet are very important. If you want more activity, the whole of Telemark is open to you. Half an hour's drive away is Treungen with boat rental on the Nisser, Telemark's largest inland lake, and if you are not lucky with the weather, there is an indoor playground right on the shore. A visit to the Z-Museum with collections of various items from their parents' and grandparents' childhood is recommended. At the tourist information there is a bike rental and the offer of a bike tour along the Treungbahn. At the beginning of August you can visit the 5-day Treungen Festival with various conserts.
