One of the most breathtaking places to stay in the Drôme des Collines! Ideal location just 60 min. from Lyon and Grenoble, between Rhône valley and Isère department. Peaceful setting, 4 hectares of grounds, swimming pool with view of hills and Vercors mountains as far as the eye can see, top quality facilities: each bedroom has own shower & WC for hassle-free mornings. Gîte ideal for unwinding, lazing poolside and visiting places of interest. Within 10-40 min. radius: Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval at Hauterives, Abbey of Saint Antoine, Champos lake, Les Roches qui Dansent woods, Romans-sur-Isère and Valence. Village within easy walking distance of gîte.
House with accommodation on 3 levels, laid out to maximise serenity and calm. Ground floor: 1 entrance leads into kitchen, living room & lounge area opening onto covered terrace (an outdoor living area). 2nd entrance leads to ground floor bedroom with disabled access (queen-size bed, shower room, WC). 3rd entrance leads to utility room and 4 air conditioned bedrooms (including 2 family rooms) all with own walk-in shower & WC. Ground floor bedroom (2 single beds OR king-size bed). 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (2 single beds OR king-size bed in each). 2nd floor: bedroom (2 single beds OR king-size bed). House adjoins that of owners, Margaux and Paul, but has separate entrance(s) (not overlooked). Owners' swimming pool (5x12m) has paddling pool area (25cm deep) with depth of 1.4m for remainder, ideal for volleyball or water polo.
