The villa was built in 1930 by the furrier, Ch. Max Romahn. Today we live on the ground floor of the renovated residential building and rent out the two apartments on the upper floor and attic as holiday apartments.
The Villa Romahn is located on a park-like property in the centre of Schkeuditz and at the gates of Leipzig.
You will find all shops for your daily needs on the Rathausplatz which is only 200 m away.
We are not far away from the Schkeuditzer motorway junction and therefore in only a few minutes on the A9 or A14. The S-Bahn station is about 500 m away and within walking distance and the tram stop directly on Rathausplatz is only 200 m away. The airport Leipzig/Halle is reachable in approx. 10 minutes by car.
Leipzig:
Whether shopping, sightseeing or working - the centre of Leipzig is only 15 km away. The best way to reach the market place is by S-Bahn in only 16 minutes. You are also welcome to use the tram to discover even more of Leipzig, or to take a relaxed ride in by car. The sporty ones can ride their bicycles along the well developed cycle paths along the 'Weißen Elster' and over the Auenwald to Leipzig.
The holiday flat is located in the completely developed attic of the old villa and has thereby its completely special charm with the exposed beams. In addition to two bedrooms, each with a double bed, the apartment has a gallery with two single beds.
The living and dining room with the gallery is very open and invites you to eat and linger. The living area is extended by the spacious loggia with a view of the garden and the city centre of Schkeuditz.
The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, oven, stove, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine).
The bathroom is spacious and has both a shower and a bathtub.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in the green oasis surrounded by old trees in the middle of the city centre of Schkeuditz and only 15 minutes away from the centre of Leipzig.

From the first moment we fell in love with the beautiful villa and took it over in spring 2019. We live on the ground floor and enjoy every minute on the park-like property with the old trees.
In our spare time but also professionally we travel a lot ourselves and are happy to offer the two apartments on the upper floor and attic to guests in the periods in which we do not need them ourselves or are no longer rented as a furnished apartment.
In the first floor we have another holiday apartment for up to 5 guests. Thus, a total of up to 11 guests can be accommodated.
Long-term tenants are always welcome and will make you an individual offer with special prices.
