The river retreat on the Battenkill is nestled on a private dirt road. This secluded apartment is on the Battenkill river is just steps from the historical Rexleigh covered bridge. The upstairs apartment includes one bedroom with a queen size bed, living room, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony with outdoor seating, the storied Battenkill is one of the most beloved rivers in the country by Novice and experienced anglers. It is also perfect for kayaking, canoeing, birdwatching, and relaxing.
The space is an apartment over the main part of the house ,entrance is in the back of the house up a flight of stairs.I have horses, they are very friendly you can visit them. I have a small golden retriever who may bark but super friendly. Her name is Grace, the property is Riverview with access. If you Flyfish this is a perfect spot. Also Vermont ski mountains are about 40 min and less away, Saratoga race track also about 40 min drive..

Summary: The property in is a very quiet place with beautiful views of the Battenkill River. There was plenty of room for our large dog to exercise. The owners were very professional and approachable. We did find kitchenware lacking in preparing our own food. The location was beautiful this time of year, but a bit out of the way as fair as restaurants and stores.
