Summary: The property is in the center of a Lausanne neighborhood called "Prilly". There is nothing to see in the immediate neighborhood, but there are 2 nearby grocery stores. The location grants access within 90 minutes by car to Geneva, Lutry, La Lavaux vineyards, Vevey, Montreux, Gruyere, Charmey, Bern and Les Diablerets. Also worth a visit in Lausanne is the Olympic museum. If you want a place just to relax with a view of the lake, this isn't it. If you want a starting point to see most everything in Western Switzerland, this works well. We had no communication with the property manager as none was needed. The instructions for entering were clear.
