Charming Villa Nestled In The Lucca Hills | Villa in Ponte del giglio

Tucked away in the quiet countryside just outside Lucca, Villa Angelique is a light-filled Tuscan retreat made for slow mornings, long lunches and evenings that drift naturally into conversation. Surrounded by greenery and woodland, it offers the privacy of a country home while keeping the city, the coast and some of the area’s best-loved restaurants within easy reach.
Inside, the villa feels fresh, generous and quietly elegant. The interiors are bright and tastefully furnished, with a relaxed contemporary style that lets the Tuscan setting take the lead. Five double bedrooms and five bathrooms make the house particularly well suited to families or groups of friends travelling together, offering both sociable spaces and a comfortable sense of privacy.
Days here unfold easily. Start with coffee in the garden, spend the afternoon exploring Lucca’s historic walls and hidden piazzas, then return home for dinner under the open sky. The independent kitchen is fully equipped for those who enjoy cooking with local ingredients, while nearby restaurants make it just as tempting to leave the evening in someone else’s hands.
The location is one of Villa Angelique’s quiet strengths. Lucca is around ten kilometres away, Pisa and the Versilia coast are within easy reach, and the beaches of Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi make effortless day trips. For families, Pinocchio Park and Canyon Park add another layer of possibility, while wine country, village trattorias and small local shops bring the rhythm of Tuscany close to home.
Villa Angelique also sits next to Villa Regina, making the two houses an appealing option for larger groups wishing to stay close together while preserving the independence and atmosphere of two separate homes. Taken on its own, Villa Angelique is a calm, comfortable and beautifully positioned country escape; paired with its neighbouring villa, it becomes an ideal setting for extended families, reunions or groups of friends gathering in Tuscany.
